Next, the purchaser can look at the ordering page itself. Only the necessary financial information should be requested, and, if possible some type of encryption method should be in place so that only the purchaser and seller will see entire account numbers.

The purchaser may also want to phone the company and see if he can conduct business with one particular person when ordering glass plaques or trophies and awards. If that is possible, he can write down that person’s name. Then, if there is a problem with financial information being unlawfully accessed, the purchaser will have an employee’s name at the company from which he purchased the glass plaques or trophies and awards.
